Are you wondering how mulch, black dirt, sand, pea gravel or class five you need for your landscape project?
To help keep the weeds out, a standard 3" depth is figured for mulch. You calculate your square feet by taking your length times (x) the width, then divide that figure by 27 times (x) 0.25 = the yards needed.
To calculate rock for a standard depth of 3" you use length times (x)width divided that figure by 108 = the yards needed.
If you are looking for a different depth give us a call we will be happy to calculate it for you.
